A Good Day to Scrapbook?

What is that quote about the "best laid plans?"

I really wanted to start scrapping last night.  Really.

But why did I end up organizing every digital photo on my hard drive...and my flash drive?  Why?

Nobody told me I had to do that.  I did it all on my own.

Okay, this a.m. ready to scrapbook, right?  Well, I didn't really have all my photos organized it seems.  No problem.  I'll just finish up those strays that were hanging out in some unknown folder thinking I'd forget them.

But what about dinner?  And I promised to make a cheesecake.  That's why I sent hubs to the store to get cream cheese, remember?  Okay, let's go to the kitchen and get it all done, then we can scrap in freedom the rest of the weekend, even while the Superbowl is on, because my scrap and writing space is on the other side of the room in front of the built-in shelves.

I'll throw a big roast in the crockpot with all kinds of veggies and other good stuff, the cheesecake in a big lasagna dish.  I'm good for the entire weekend.

What pictures exactly did I plan to scrap?  What happened to my creativity?

Why do I think it's more fun to just scroll folder after folder, admiring my beautiful job or organizing my digis, no duds among them.  Oh, there's the one of Jeff and Dad in front of the Chili Parlor in Cincy...and, hey, my hair looked halfway decent on that one.  Oh, that was the day...

Well, I thought this would be a good day to scrapbook.
